Do own goals count for goalscorer bets?
No. All 10 bookmakers we cover say own goals don't count for goalscorer bets (each from its own rules, checked 18 Oct 2026). If the first goal is an own goal, Sky Bet, Paddy Power, William Hill, Ladbrokes, Coral and Unibet settle first goalscorer bets on the next goal that isn't an own goal. If the only goals are own goals, "no goalscorer" wins at Sky Bet, William Hill and BoyleSports.
