Responsible gambling
Betting should be a bit of fun on a Saturday, never a way to make money or fix money worries. Most bets lose, ours included. Here's how to keep it fun, and where to get help if it stops being fun.
Keep it fun
- Set a deposit limit with every bookie before you bet. They all have one.
- Decide what a unit is for you, and keep it to money you'd spend on a night out anyway.
- Never chase losses. A bad weekend is a bad weekend. Next week is a fresh start, not a chance to win it back.
- Don't bet when you're drunk, skint or down. Take a break with a time-out on the bookie's app.
- Remember most accas lose. A long-odds win is rare by design.
Signs it's stopped being fun
Spending more than you planned, hiding it from people close to you, borrowing to bet, or feeling anxious when you're not betting. If any of that sounds familiar, call the helpline above. It's free, confidential, and nobody will judge you.
What we do
PicksArena is for adults only: 18 and over in the UK and most places, 21 and over in the US. We show every loss, we never say a bet is a sure thing, and we only show bookie offers that are clearly labelled as ads, and only in the UK and Ireland. Unsubscribe from our emails with one click, any time.
Under 18
If you are under 18 (or under 21 in the US), this site is not for you. Parents can use device filters to block gambling sites.
